Brent Peterson, Owner

Brent is Owner and Lead Home Inspector and has been licensed in Iowa and Illinois since 2007.  Peterson Home Inspections has been serving the greater quad cities area for over 20 years.  After a 6-year partnership with his father, in 2014 Brent took over Peterson Home Inspections as the sole owner and operator. Brent is nationally certified through the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) and internationally certified through the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNachi).  Brent is also a nationally certified radon measurement professional through the National Radon Proficiency Program (NRPP) and holds the state radon measurement license in both Iowa and Illinois.  In addition, he has been a member of the Quad City Realtors Association since 2007. 

Brent grew up in the quad cities where he rowed crew for the Quad Cities Rowing Association and was later recruited by the University of Washington, Seattle.  After college he returned to the Quad Cites where he spent a couple years as the head coach to the now Y Quad Cities Rowing Association. He grew up son to a handyman, hardware store owner and home inspector.  Brent credits his father for his vast knowledge at a young age of a home’s construction and for providing him the necessary tools to become a quality home inspector and business owner.  His mission is to ensure each client has a clear, thorough understanding of the home or building’s condition and to provide him or her with an essential tool to assist in making an important financial decision.   

Brent is a lifelong quad city resident and currently resides in Pleasant Valley, Iowa with his wife and two children.
